About Us

We didn't plan the business.

In early December 2016, We set up a wreath stand to make a few extra dollars to get extra Christmas gifts for our son.  We had a few clam shells and decided to draw some lighthouses on them to sell as well. Then, we posted a few photos on Facebook. In 2 days we had over 40 orders!

We've done a few (hundred) more since then.

True Story - We grew up in towns that were within twenty minutes of each other, and we never met. We both graduated from high school the same year, went to the same college in New Hampshire and majored in the same thing. (BA in Graphic Design) We still never met. We both had apartments on the same street, and never met. We both graduated, and ended up both being designers for the same newspaper. One was a page designer, and the other was an advertisement designer. We met. We've been married for over 14 years, have an awesome son, two cats and a dog.

We are creative... in more ways than one. We have education, experience, talent and passion in art & design. Whether it's writing, drawing, painting, building or computer-aided creating we love to be artistic. In fact, we have a graphic design business, write & illustrate children's books, and Hana even has cake business specializing in fondant cakes.
